The Board of Trustees is the governing body of the Authority. The Board is comprised of seven members appointed by:

The Authority staff reports to the Executive Director who, in turn, reports to the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees is dedicated to protecting the financial and environmental interests of the Marquette County residents. Board members have strong backgrounds in engineering, business, education, and government, and meet once a month.
The Marquette County Solid Waste Management Authority (Authority) ended the 20th Century with a well-managed waste management system that is poised to serve its constituents’ needs well into the new century. The Authority operates a state of the art landfill that is environmentally and fiscally sound, and has a projected capacity that will last over 50 years.
